Okay... so God is sooo cool! A few weeks ago, I got a call on the phone. It was a lady's voice I did not know so curiously I listened to the message. The woman told me that my name had been referred by my youth minister for an internship. At this point I was confused but intent on listening to the message. The lady informed me that there was an internship available for 5 high school seniors entering college to work at the Go Tell Ministries Office, at the camps, and go on a summer mission trip. Of course these are all things that are of interest to me! So I am still listening. The woman, Becca, gave me the phone number and information I needed. Today I received a letter in the mail stating that I have obtained the internship. Now here is what he internship is. I will be in Duluth, Georgia from June 3 to June 6 at the Go Tell Ministries office for leadership training. I will then be sent to one of the camps for four weeks. (One whole month!) Then, I will be back in Georgia interning for further ministry oppurtunities. After that week is over, I will be going on a mission trip with Go Tell to either Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic. When I come back, I will only have one or two weeks to prepare for college. What a great oppurtunity God has blessed me with, but that's not all!!! Go Tell Ministries is giving me a whole year's tuition (32 credit hours) scholarship! Man, something only God can do.
I do have a few things you could pray for me about:
-I need to finish my online class to graduate a year early. Pray that I will have the strength and the right mind to finish it.
-My friend's mother just died a few days ago and his family needs prayer.
-A church member died this morning as well. He has been sick for a long time. Please be in prayer for his family as well.
